Coopers Brewery will manufacture the internationally acclaimed and market-leading brands Miller Genuine Draft, Miller Chill and Coors for Molson Coors.
The announcement from the brewer comes on the back of Good Drinks’ that it will distribute the beers in Australia from 1 July.
Good Drinks say that the Molson Coors brands collectively represent around 15 million litres per annum and production at Coopers Regency Park brewery is expected to commence next month.
Coopers say they will be working closely with Molson Coors and that the brands will be manufactured under strict quality controls and supervision utilising the brewery’s current production capacity.
Coopers Brewery Managing Director Dr Tim Cooper said: “Coopers is proud to be manufacturing these well-known international brands right here in South Australia. I have come to know Peter Coors and his sons personally over many years and have a deep respect for Molson Coors, its history and its craft.
“Coopers is Australia’s largest independent family-owned brewer and this year we celebrate our 160th year of brewing. We are excited to be entering this partnership with Molson Coors during this milestone year for our brewery.”
