Kollaras & Co has confirmed that brand marketer Clive Coleman has joined the company as Executive General Manager – Commercial.
With a history working with acclaimed brands such as Coca-Cola, Great Northern, Yellowtail, Squealing Pig and 19 Crimes, Coleman will lead the Marketing and Brand Development teams.

19 Crimes has been reported as enjoying triple digit growth in Australia with a value of over $13million and has similarly had phenomenal success in the US.
Kollaras & Co Managing Director John Kollaras said: “Clive brings a wealth of knowledge and invaluable brand building experience to the Kollaras team. We are really looking forward to seeing Clive continue to empower our teams and drive our brands forward.”
Kollaras also commented on Misener’s promotion: “This is recognition of the dedication Doug has for the business. Doug has been with our business going on 14 months, and within that short timeframe, has driven sustained market performance, and implemented greater commercial agility. We are grateful for Doug’s commitment to the success of our people, and our business.”
Rum Ron Barceló signs distribution deal with Kollaras
It’s been a busy few months for Kollaras. In October, global rum giant Ron Barceló signed an exclusive Australian distribution deal with the company.
The agreement sees the award-winning rum distributed through Kollaras & Co’s multi-channel network, both domestically and internationally.
Ron Barceló is the Dominican Republic’s leading rum and is exported to more than 50 countries worldwide. It is the only Dominican rum crafted from the juice of sugar cane, and to have a 100% green production process.
The exclusive deal is part of the rum maker’s international expansion plan that is described by the producer as a ‘journey of instinct that has no borders.’
Misener said the partnership was an “inspired move” that would facilitate new market ventures for both companies.

Misener said: “We are thrilled to be collaborating with Templeton Rye – A historically rich and innovative brand. This relationship creates new opportunities to support our customers desire to provide their shoppers with proven high quality brands that are truly unique to the independent channel ”
