Stuart Alexander has been announced as the new Australian distributor for Chase Distillery.

Chase’s spirits range includes the award-winning Chase Potato Vodka, which is re-distilled with wild botanicals to create Chase GB Gin and a range of popular flavoured gins.

“We’re very excited to welcome Chase on board and into the Stuart Alexander family of brands,” said Stuart Alexander CEO Nick Nairn.

“We have great plans for the brand and its spirits, and believe, thanks to its quality and ability to stand out, that it will grow to be a big contender in the vodka and gin categories here in Australia.”

Stuart Alexander will oversee Chase’s Australian distribution, brand growth in the on and off trade and customer support.

“Partnering with Stuart Alexander is a great opportunity for us to step change our performance in the Australian market and introduce our luxury portfolio of spirits to premium spirit drinkers,” said Chase Distillery Managing Director Andrew Carter.

“We’re looking forward to sharing our unique field-to-bottle Chase brand story down under.”

The key Chase spirits that will be available include Chase Original Potato Vodka, Chase GB Gin, Chase Pink Grapefruit & Pomelo Gin, Chase Rhubarb and Bramley Apple Gin, Chase Seville Marmalade Gin and Chase Oak Aged Sloe Gin.

Chase produces its spirits entirely from scratch. The family has a passion for farming and grows three different varieties of potato, which are distilled into their range of spirits. The Chase Original Potato Vodka has 250 British potatoes in every bottle.

The potato is initially peeled and mashed into a pulp and then heated using steam to break down the potato starch into sugars, before being fermented and distilled. The whole process from field to bottle takes up to two weeks.

Chase Distillery also makes its gin from scratch in its bespoke copper gin still, Ginny. Botanicals are added both into the belly of the still and vapour infused through the carter head chamber giving different complexities to their gin. For the core product, Chase GB Gin, Chase infuses juniper, followed by cinnamon, ginger, almond, coriander, cardamom, cloves, angelica root, liquorice root and lemon peels to ensure a distinct, full-bodied flavour.

Chase Distillery follows a sustainable approach to farming and creating spirits. Energy is created from the onsite bio-boiler, Huxley; fueled by pruning’s from the Chase apple orchards, and all ingredients used in the spirits are sourced from the Chase farm where possible, or from trusted local suppliers.

“Chase is made with such high-quality ingredients we are certain drinkers and bartenders in Australia will be excited to taste the range and start mixing with these stunning spirits,” said Nick Nairn.

Chase Distillery joins Stuart Alexander’s growing portfolio, which includes MONIN, The West Winds Gin, Tabasco, AVOSH Premium Vodkas, Fentimans Premium Mixer Range and Evian Waters.
