Brown-Forman has announced that it will take over Fords Gin distribution from November 1, 2019.
Brown-Forman Corporation announced the purchase of The 86 Company, producer of Fords Gin, in June 2019. Since then, it has been working on a global market by market approach to ensure future distribution of the gin to position it for optimal long-term growth.
A mix of nine botanicals, Fords Gin starts with a traditional base of juniper and coriander seed balanced by citrus, florals, and spices. Steeped for 15 hours before distillation, the botanicals deliver an aromatic, fresh and floral spirit with elegant notes of jasmine and grapefruit.

Fords Gin was launched in 2012 to specifically target the cocktail sector. It’s a collaboration between Ford and 8th generation Master Distiller Charles Maxwell of Thames Distillers (both pictured above).
