Launched at the Spirit of Bundaberg festival on Saturday, 9 May 2015 will be this year’s release of the Masters Distillers’ Collection Rum by The Bundaberg Distilling Company (BDC) – Australia’s most awarded rum distillery.

The rum will feature a bold flavour and is the latest premium rum release, each of which is unique, yet retains the signature of every Bundaberg Rum since 1888.

The Blenders Edition 2015 is a complex yet sweet rum, finished in port and sherry barrels, delivering a long and exceptionally smooth finish. The delicious blend is layered with hints of raisins, vanilla and spice and is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

Dedicated rum lovers can be the first to purchase the Master Distillers’ Collection Blenders Edition 2015 bottles, when the blend is released at the Spirit of Bundaberg Festival. The free event will welcome locals, families, collectors and travellers from 10am to 5pm and will feature bands, including You Am I, Stonefield, Hart, Karl S Williams and Babaganouj, as well as lots of food and drinks stalls.

Each 700ml bottle of MDC Blenders Edition 2015 (40% ABV) carries a unique number and is available for a recommended retail price of $89.99.
