Blackhearts & Sparrows, purveyors of fine wine, beer and spirits, in collaboration with Pink Boots Society and Philter Brewing, are celebrating the launch of their Juicy Pale Ale. Available exclusively through Blackhearts & Sparrows, a portion of the proceeds of every four-pack sold goes directly to Pink Boots so they can continue empowering women in the beer industry.
Blackhearts & Sparrows, with Pink Boots Society and Philter Brewing created Juicy, a Hazy Pale Ale brewed to drive awareness and raise funds for the Pink Boots Society, with $18 from every case and $3 from each four-pack sold going directly to the organisation so they can continue working toward empowering women in the beer industry.
Sitting right at the heart of the beer is Pink Boots’ 2022 hop blend, made up of Loral, Eukanot, and HBC 586 hops and brings a majority of the beer’s hop flavours and aromas. Mosaic and Citra were added to the mix to round it out in classic NEPA style, with just a touch of Sabro added to really dial up the tropical and juicy feel.
As a long-time champion of elevating women within the beer industry, Blackhearts & Sparrows’ Beer Buyer, Cherry Murphy, joined the brew day at Philter’s Marrickville brewery alongside Pink Boots’ NSW members and was given the opportunity to share her unique perspective on what to consider when collaborating when to push boundaries, and the direction the beer industry is moving towards.
This limited-edition Hazy Pale Ale is available exclusively through Blackhearts & Sparrows stores and is available for purchase now across Victoria, Canberra, Hobart, and online.
