Beresford Wines has opened the doors to what is to be listed as one of South Australia’s ‘must visit’ locations for wine tourism. Called the Tasting Pavilion, this new facility will provide visitors with an innovative tasting experience, including some of Beresford’s exclusive ranges, right in the heart of the McLaren Vale.

Three tiers of Beresford’s award-winning wines, such as Beresford’s Estate range which is available for purchase in only a select few places, will be served alongside local and seasonal produce. Extending the experience beyond food and wine, concierge-style service will also be offered at the Pavilion, designed to ensure all visitors enjoy a bespoke experience.

The concept has been developed by Vok Beverages, who took over Beresford Wines almost four years ago, and aims to showcase the label’s revitalised approach to delivering a premium experience.Beresford5

“We have created our new Tasting Pavilion to ensure it both showcases our label and offers something for every visitor – from our three tiers of tastings for casual visitors through to the tailored experiences we design for private groups,” Marketing Manager, Chris Illman said.

“Our intent is to offer a premium experience on every level and that includes the service delivered by our team. Our Estate Manager James Braybrook formerly worked as a sommelier in a number of leading restaurants so he’s an extremely knowledgeable and engaging host.”

Located on Blewitt Springs Road at McLaren Flat, Beresford Wines’ Tasting Pavilion is open for private functions on Mondays and Tuesdays and to casual visitors between 10am and 5pm all other days. Tastings start at $15 per person for groups of up to six people.

“Situated in an idyllic location overlooking the estate, we are able to offer an unashamedly sensory experience, from the design of the building through to the views, the food and the wines we serve”, Illman added.

“Early feedback is telling us we have created a very special destination.”
