The annual Australian Beer Festival will be returning this October for its 12th year. The four-day festival, to be held from the 14th to 16th, will see The Rocks host Sydney’s ultimate celebration of beer and cider.

Event attendees can expect 30 stalls to line Cumberland and Gloucester streets, showcasing some of the Australian craft brews. More than 30 Australian breweries will be represented this year, including Willie the Boatman, Pirate Life Brewing., Moo Brew and the ladies from Two Birds. All brewers have been encouraged to brew a limited edition specialty beer for the festival, adding a huge array of variety to the event.

The outdoor Beer Garden will make a comeback, located on Gloucester Street. Also returning will be the ‘Meet the Brewer’ sessions, blind tastings and numerous awards including the new category of ‘People’s Choice’, as voted by festival attendees.

Gourmet food will also be on show, with highlights including the Oyster Bar by Seabreeze Beach Hotel South West Rocks and The Australian Hotel’s renowned pizzas.

Tickets to the annual Australian Beer Festival are now on sale for $35. The ticket price includes a tasting cup and 10 tasting tokens. For more information and to book tickets visit the website.
