Next month will see the return of the fourth annual Aussie Wine Month – Australia’s biggest celebration of local wine.

An initiative of Wine Australia, Aussie Wine Month aims to encourage wine lovers to discover diverse new wine from different regions across Australia, inviting consumers to share their discoveries by using the hashtag #AussieWineMonth in their social media posts.

Those who use the hashtag could win a dozen bottles of Australian wine valued at more than $400. Visit the Aussie Wine Month site for more details.

Events will take place across the country, including some of Australia’s lesser-known wine regions, and with 65 wine regions to choose from; there’s something for everyone.

Wineries will be hosting tastings, dinners and walks during the month. In addition, a number of pop-up cellar doors, festivals and selected restaurants, bars and pubs will have an all-Australian wine-by-the-glass list for the month of May.
