Antipodes Gin Company has become the first Australian distillery to receive the prestigious status of ‘Certified Sustainable.’

The certification, awarded by Certified Sustainable to businesses in accordance with strict sustainable practices, reflects the distillery’s pioneering role in sustainable distilling practices in Australia.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as Australia’s first ‘Certified Sustainable’ distillery,” said Co-Founder Rory Gration

“This certification is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication to sustainability.”

Since its Inception, Antipodes Gin Company has been at the forefront of the sustainable movement in Australian distilling, applying its environmentally-conscious approach to all aspects of its operations. This includes sourcing organic ingredients, employing energy-efficient distillation processes, using recyclable packaging, and planting over 11,800 trees.

“We believe in making a positive impact on our planet and our community,” said Rory.

“This recognition encourages us to continue our efforts and inspires others in the industry to join us in this important journey.”

More than just representing a major milestone for the distillery itself, Antipodes Gin Company’s new Certified Sustainable certification has established a new standard for Australia’s organic spirits industry moving forwards.
