House of Arras and Eddystone Point collected a number of trophies and gold medals last Friday night at the 2015 Tasmanian Wine Show Presentation. The 2002 House of Arras EJ Carr Late Disgorged took away the trophy for Best Late Disgorged Mature Vintage Sparkling Wine, while the 2012 Eddystone Point Pinot Noir won the trophy for Best Three Year Old Pinot Noir. Together, with an additional five gold medals awarded to House of Arras, Eddystone Point and Bay of Fires wines, saw Accolade Wines receive the Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Research Trophy for the Most Successful Exhibitor; the second time in three years that Accolade has received the award. The Tasmanian Wine Show seeks to recognise and award the skill and dedication to quality by Tasmanian grape growers and winemakers, and in-turn provides opportunity for Tasmanian wine producers to benchmark their products alongside others.
