ABAC invites submissions from industry

The ABAC Management Committee is undertaking a review of the ABAC Responsible Alcohol Marketing Code standards and coverage. 

ABAC says that reviews are necessary to “ensure that the Code continues to meet objectives as the alcohol, media and advertising industries and community expectations evolve”.

ABAC says that seeking submission from industry and interested parties means that a range of views representative of key stakeholders are considered throughout the revision process.

Consultation will be undertaken to assist the ABAC Management Committee to review the Code, and where necessary make changes. The review will be confined to Code standards and coverage.

Interested parties are invited to make their submissions by 5.00pm, Friday, 11 March via email.
