In an era when drinkers are looking for products that dovetail with a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing mindset, new RTD Staple ticks the boxes.

In what they describe as ‘the weirdness of 2020’, three long time mates; Matt Poole, George Tyler and David Snow developed Staple to be a healthy alternative premix alcohol option.

Officially launched this week in collaboration with the boat-hiring platform Flotespace, Staple is the only RTD on the market that blends real fruit puree in the mix: the whole fruit, skin and all, to eliminate waste.

The trio says the brand is hell-bent on helping people create memories and experiences. It utilitarian product design speaks to simplicity and inclusivity; a drink to be enjoyed by all.

Staple is all-natural low in sugar and calories (89 calories per can) and available in two people-pleasing combinations of Vodka Soda Lime of Gin Soda Cucumber.

Another new-age tick is Staple comes in fully recyclable 330 ml aluminium cans registered with Exchange for Change scheme supplier appealing to the environmentalist in us.

Post-launch co-founder Matthew Poole said; “We teamed up with Flotespace to create the ultimate summer launch party for our new Aussie staples, Staple Drinks. It’s exciting to partner with growing brands to create epic experiences and memories for our guests. We’re absolutely stoked with the feedback we’ve received on the product from the guests yesterday and our wider network of customers. We’ve had a great response from the industry so far with the product currently available in 47 BWS & Dan Murphy’s stores along with 50 independent retailers.”

“We wanted to create something with unreal taste. A lot of products in the market want to claim the lowest calories with taste being an afterthought. But we wanted our product to tick the health boxes and actually be enjoyable. It’s something we genuinely love the taste of,” Poole explains.

“NPD took us a while to nail, but we didn’t want to skimp on quality, and we are now incredibly stoked with the final product,” said Snow. “We wouldn’t release a drink that we didn’t believe in.”

Staple is green, clean, convenient, low in sugar and calories with real fruit. It’s the Millennial’s dream drink with the perfect name. What’s not to love?
