Arras announces partnership with Sydney Symphony Orchestra

The Sydney Symphony Orchestra has partnered with House of Arras to serve its patrons the award-winning sparkling wine at select events in 2018 through to 2021.

Lizzi Nicoll, Sydney Symphony Orchestra Director of External Affairs, said: “When the opportunity came for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to partner with House of Arras, it was clear to us that the way our world-class musicians approach their craft was similar to the art of winemaking.

“Our musicians exhibit commitment, skill, and passion as they share beautiful music, and this is parallel to the way that House of Arras winemaker Ed Carr has harnessed dedication, patience, and precision to produce exceptional, aged sparkling wines. The alignment with House of Arras made sense, and we are proud to welcome them as the new official sparkling wine partner of our world class orchestra.”

House of Arras is Australia’s most awarded sparkling wine brand. To date, it has received 85 trophies and in 2017, House of Arras was awarded the ‘Best Sparkling Trophy’ at every capital city wine show in Australia.

At a private event at the Sydney Opera House, guests will be able to enjoy an intimate twilight experience with House of Arras and Halliday Wine Companion on Wednesday, October 10.

The cocktail event will feature an exclusive chamber performance by members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and guests will be among the very first to enjoy the vintage release of five House of Arras wines, including a new 2001 Museum Release Blanc de Blancs.
