Entries open for 2018/2019 BACARDÍ Legacy Global Cocktail Competition
Entries for the 2018/2019 BACARDÍ Legacy Global Cocktail Competition in Australia are now open.
BACARDÍ Legacy was established to challenge the best contemporary bartenders in the world to create their own cocktail Legacy – that will stand the test of time and ensure that both bartender and beverage are remembered like the illustrious classic cocktails of the past, such as the Daiquiri and the Mojito.
This year’s entries have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Fred Siggins, Alissa Gabriel, Andrew Bennett, Dave Kerr and this year’s Australian Legacy title-holder, James Irvine. The winner of the Australian Grand Final in 2018/19 will go on to represent him/herself and Australia at the BACARDÍ Legacy Global Final in Amsterdam.
With an impressive record of reaching the top 8, Australian finalists have proven their skills to the international bartending community. Their incredible performances have gained them not only personal notoriety, but recognition of Australia as a significant contributor in the development of the bartending profession worldwide.
Bartenders can enter via www.bacardilegacy.com or email email@example.com for any questions.
In the lead up to entries closing, BACARDÍ’s Brand Ambassadors and team will be hosting ‘How-to-Win’ Legacy masterclasses in all major cities.
To energise and inspire hopeful entrants, some of Australia’s Legacy legends, who have forged their own place on the Global stage, will be attending their local event offering their insider tips and tricks on what it takes to make it all the way.
Entries close October 1, 2018.
