Dan Murphy's to launch pop-up cocktail bar
Dan Murphy’s is turning an abandoned heritage house in inner Sydney into a pop-up bar.
The 'House of Discovery' will celebrate the drinks trends of 2018, with each room of the Chippendale house decked out and stocked up with installations and drinks that reflect our current drinking habits and trends.
Highlights will include an agave garden path that teaches the real way to enjoy tequila; two at-home bars – at Tiki Bar and 1950’s Martini bar, where attendees will learn how to concoct two signature cocktails; and a ‘drinks first, food second’ experience where the food selection follows the lead of the drinks list.
The drinks list has been curated in collaboration with award-winning bartender and Dan Murphy’s Spirit Ambassador, Charlie Ainsbury. Food will be created by from Sydney’s renowned Spice Alley; and music will be by DJ Flex Mami.
